COURSE INFORMATION

This qualification is suited to those working as administrators and project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. This course is suitable for those who have completed BSB30120 Certificate III in Business or relevant qualifications with vocational experience in a range of environments providing administrative or operational support to individuals or team but no formal business qualification.

Lessons are delivered face-to-face with a self-study online component, and include a range of methods, practical tasks and activities. Assessments are conducted via observation, demonstration, case study, practical tasks, projects and a portfolio.

 

Course Duration

52 weeks includes

  • Face-to-Face sessions in classroom

  • Self-study online

  • Simulated business/real work place sessions

  • Study break (12 weeks)

 

Entry Requirements

  • Completion of year 10 or equivalent

  • Overseas students must have a minimum overall band of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent


Pathways

Students may undertake a higher level course in Business related or employment opportunities.

This qualification reflects a variety of Business Services job roles. Upon completion of this qualification, you may have supervisory performance accountabilities.

You will be able to carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills.
