General English (GE) is designed for students who want to improve their English skills and ability to communicate competent or above in any social or work situations.

This course provides students with a solid foundation to progress to Advanced English courses and higher education and qualification courses.
Commencement dates: Any Monday throughout the year.
Hours per week: 20 hours / week
Timetable: Monday-Friday (9am - 3pm) / (5pm - 9:15pm)
Course length: 6 weeks (recommended minimum)
Class size: Average of 14 students
English level: Beginner to Advanced
This program will enable the students to:
Use English with greater confidence.
Develop their ability to understand real-life conversations, books, television shows, cinema among other general everyday activities.
Read and comprehend with greater understanding.
Speak with increasing fluency, clarity and accuracy.
Extend and apply their existing grammar and vocabulary knowledge.
Understand both formal, i.e. work and habitual English
Classes are topic based, interactive and use a wide range of up-to-date course materials, including books, media, internet and computer software.
Course content focuses on the development of communication skills with a balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing tasks.
Students learn through hands of practical class activities, individual, pair and group work.
